Senior Engineer (MEP Project)

Job Duties

• Manage MEP projects throughout the project lifecycle, including design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning
• Monitor project progress against programme and milestones
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare and review project schedules, method statements and construction plans
• Assist Project Manager in resource planning, cost control and contract administration
• Oversee daily site activities and monitor workmanship quality
• Coordinate site labour, subcontractors and material deliveries
• Resolve technical and construction issues arising on site
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory requirements
• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings and material submissions
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors
• Coordinate design interfaces among various MEP disciplines
• Prepare RFIs, technical reports and engineering proposals
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering

• Holder of Green Card

• Minimum 8 years MEP project experience

• Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills are essential

• Good command in English and Chinese
