Senior Engineer, Mobile Network

Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a Mobile Network Engineer to support the implementation, optimization, and management of international roaming services. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global telecom operators, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality roaming solutions across 4G/5G networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the integration and launch of new international roaming services and operator partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate roaming service deployment and implementation activities.
• Conduct network testing, service verification, and acceptance testing to ensure optimal performance and service quality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to roaming services and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external partners.
• Work with vendors, telecom operators, and internal stakeholders throughout project implementation.
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for network and roaming initiatives.
• Assess and recommend technical solutions to support service enhancements and operational needs.
• Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks, and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile network operations, telecommunications engineering, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with international roaming services, VoLTE, LTE, and 5G technologies.
• Familiarity with roaming testing, network validation, and service implementation processes.
• Good understanding of GSMA standards and roaming industry practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
• Able to work outside normal business hours when required to support service launches and critical activities.
• Self-motivated team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
