Senior Engineer, Mobile Software Development (Android)

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Build reusable, testable, and maintainable application components.
• Apply MVVM or MVI architectural patterns.
• Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit.
• Work with Android SDK components and Jetpack libraries.
• Follow SOLID principles, clean-code practices, and established design patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and application releases.
• Investigate and resolve performance issues, crashes, and defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of the Android lifecycle, including activities, fragments, Compose lifecycle, and lifecycle-aware components.
• Practical experience with MVVM or MVI.
• Experience integrating APIs using Retrofit.
• Strong knowledge of caching mechanism using Room, shared preferences and files.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for handling asynchronous operations and reactive state management.
• Understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience integrating Firebase services, particularly Firebase Crashlytics, to monitor, investigate, and resolve application crashes.
• Knowledge of mobile application security best practices, including secure data storage (e.g., Encrypted Shared Preferences, Android Keystore), secure network communication (HTTPS/TLS, certificate pinning), and protection against common vulnerabilities.
