Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager Control Panel Assembly to manage and supervise the fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and dispatch of electrical/control panels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage materials, manpower, and resources to meet production schedules.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and guide technicians, electricians, and contract workforce.
• Supervise fabrication and assembly of electrical/electronic panels as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Procurement teams.
• Manage WIP and maintain shop-floor production schedules.
• Check BOM, GA drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project documents.
• Ensure proper panel assembly, control wiring, power wiring, and testing.
• Inspect completed control panels, close observations, and clear panels for dispatch.
• Maintain production, inspection, and testing documentation.
• Ensure safe and efficient completion of work as per customer delivery requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Switchgear and Busbar assembly/manufacturing.
• Experience with LT Panels, Starter Panels, Power Panels, and Automation Control Panels.
• Good knowledge of power and control wiring and control cabinet assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and control logic diagrams.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and relevant industry standards.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Control Panel Manufacturing, Switchgear, LT Panel, Automation Panel, Generator/Genset, or Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industries are preferred.
