Position Summary

The Product Realization Engineer (MEP) is responsible for converting product concepts, engineering designs, and innovation initiatives into manufacturable, installable, and scalable MEP solutions. The role bridges the gap between design, manufacturing, logistics, and site installation to ensure successful product development and deployment within the offsite manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the realization of new MEP products from concept to commercial implementation.
• Develop modular and prefabricated MEP solutions with a focus on manufacturability, logistics, and installation efficiency.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Factory Engineering, Procurement, and Site Teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Prepare engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly documentation, and installation guidelines.
• Conduct prototype development, product testing, and validation activities.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles in all product developments.
• Evaluate product performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support factory setup, process development, tooling requirements, and production readiness.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and modularization across MEP products.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Work closely with site teams to gather feedback and improve future product iterations.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• 3-8 years of experience in MEP engineering, prefabrication, modular construction, or product development.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems.
• Experience in modular construction, offsite manufacturing, or industrialized construction methods is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Inventor, SolidWorks, or equivalent engineering software.
• Knowledge of DFMA, Lean Manufacturing, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
