Senior Engineer - Regional Strike

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.

**CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:**Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a senior engineer for the Regional Strike Programs, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing equipment on multiple Navy platforms.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Electromechanical equipment design, Electronics Packaging design, Production Support, Installation Support, Environmental Testing, Modeling & Analysis, and/or Drawing development.

What sets you apart:

• Proficient in Electro-mechanical design
• Proficient in Electrical schematic understanding and generation
• Cable and harness design experience preferred
• Fiber optic cabling experience desirable, but not required
• Proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
• Experience with Creo. Ansys is desired also
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
• Creative thinker capable of leading a team in the preparation of project design, testing, and prototype fabrication
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

Combined Salary Range

USD $95,384.00 - USD $105,817.00 /Yr.
