Job Description:
The Senior Engineer - Static Equipment Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and technical support of static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems. This role will involve ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing projects from concept through execution. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Key responsibilities will include performing calculations, preparing specifications, and conducting design reviews. The candidate will also be involved in resolving technical issues during the construction phase and coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in the design and analysis of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
• Proficiency in engineering software tools for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, PV Elite, HTRI)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Preparing technical documentation, including specifications and reports for stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in static equipment design and engineering, preferably in an oil and gas or petrochemical environment.
