Senior Engineering Manager – EMS Business

Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Factory-based) / Open to candidates of all nationalities.

Job Summary

Lead Product, Process, and Test Engineering teams to support electronics manufacturing operations. Oversee new product introduction, production readiness, process improvement, and test performance to ensure product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and successful delivery of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Product, Process, and Test Engineering teams, including resource planning, training, and performance management.
• Manage new product introduction (NPI), engineering builds, production transfers, and readiness for mass production.
• Oversee product specifications, bills of materials (BOM), engineering changes, and manufacturing documentation.
• Drive process development and optimization across SMT, PCBA, and final assembly operations.
• Oversee test development, validation, and maintenance, including in-circuit testing (ICT) and functional testing (FCT).
• Improve production yield, productivity, equipment utilization, and manufacturing costs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product, process, and test failures.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers to resolve technical issues and meet delivery commitments.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, equipment requirements, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, applicable quality standards, and company procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing, including at least 5 years in engineering management.
• Strong technical knowledge across Product, Process, and Test Engineering.
• Hands-on understanding of SMT, PCBA, final assembly, ICT, and FCT.
• Experience in NPI, production transfers, yield improvement, and structured problem-solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, and customer communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Willing to work on-site at the factory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
• Open to candidates of all nationalities.
