Senior Engineering Manager - Digital Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager - Digital Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead engineering execution for digital product and platform capabilities in a healthcare environment, with a strong focus on distributed systems and cloud-enabled solutions. You will shape technical direction, partner closely with product and design, and help ensure engineering outcomes support business priorities and member experience. The position also emphasizes building strong teams, developing leaders, and improving delivery quality, velocity, and operational health.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for product and platform capabilities and guide architectural decisions across distributed systems
• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams
• Coach managers on effective leadership practices
• Drive execution through clear goal-setting and continuous improvement of team velocity and quality
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align engineering work with business priorities
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, particularly cloud services and AI, to enhance member experiences
• Monitor team health and proactively resolve workflow impediments

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on enterprise solutions and cloud technologies
• 3+ years leading large cross-functional project management initiatives, particularly micro-services and streaming platforms
• 2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience with modern cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
