Senior Engineering Manager (Mold, Precision Hardware industry)

About the role

This role involves overseeing the design and development of processes for precision parts, molds, and dies to meet customer specifications. You will collaborate with process designers and manufacturing teams to ensure processes are optimized for efficient and high-quality production, while developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for precision parts and die fabrication.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of processes for precision parts, molds, and dies to meet customer specifications
• Collaborate with process designers and manufacturing teams to ensure processes are optimized for efficient and high-quality production
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision parts and die fabrication
• Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and processes for CNC machining, EDM, and Wirecut to enhance production capabilities
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Setup yearly department targets, tasks, and timelines
• Allocate jobs and tasks to subordinates and follow up to achieve targets within timelines

About you

• Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• 15 years or above of working experience in Precision Machining Technologies and High Precision Die Fabrication
• In-depth knowledge of precision machining, die fabrication, and related manufacturing processes
• Understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as CNC machining, EDM, and additive manufacturing
• Experience in managing Engineering department for developing precision machining processes, jig/fixture designs, and process design
• Experience in implementing new methodologies and techniques to improve efficiencies of precision machining processes
• Self-driven and capable of driving teams and working with cross-functional teams
• Skilled in using Excel, Word, PPT and other office software
• Capable of communication in English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
