Senior Enterprise Application Architect

Responsibilities

• Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Enterprise Architecture.
• Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals.
• Designs, develops, and deploys the overall product software systems and defines system solutions based on user requirements and technical specifications.
• Analyzes, research, consults, and evaluates system software requirements.
• Writes software requirements specifications, software test descriptions, design descriptions, test reports, and progress reports.
• Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
• Designs, implements, tests and documents software according to specifications using approved company software processes and tools;
• Analyzes and decomposes system and subsystem requirements and specifications;
• Identifies software limitations and deficiencies in existing products and identifies improvements or solutions;
• Prepares and presents design review material in support of technical interchange meetings with suppliers and external/internal customers;
• Participates in code reviews, verifies software change specification compliance, and records review and verification results;
• Plans projects and executes the plan with attention to details;
• Provides direction and oversight, both technically and programmatically, to subordinates.
• Manages project effort and time within the budget and schedule provided for the task.
• Reports project status and progress meeting client requirements.
• Participates in software effort planning and estimation activities.
• Participates in tracking and reporting progress on assignments.
• Supports collection of software development metrics and continuous improvement processes.
• Ensures customer satisfaction.

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Enterprise Architecture, or a related discipline would be an added advantage.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered where appropriate.
• Expert level fluency with 5-7 years related technical experience.
• Knowledge of 0365, MS Power Platform, AZURE, scripting, MS SQL server and ERP (MD NAV/MS Dynamics Business Central).
