About the role

As Senior Estimator, you'll take ownership of technically excellent, commercially robust estimates while also leading the digital transformation of the estimating function. This is a genuine leadership role with direct reports, reporting to the Group Director.

You'll be hands-on and strategic in equal measure:

• Prepare detailed, first-principles cost estimates from architectural and engineering drawings
• Lead quantity take-offs, tender proposals, and pricing risk reviews
• Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Champion the rollout of digital estimating tools and platforms
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Estimating team
• Represent the business in client-facing pricing meetings and bid presentations
• Drive Group-wide consistency, standardisation, and continuous improvement in estimating practice

What you'll bring:

• Ideally a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of NZS 3910 and the Construction Contracts Act 2002
• Proven first-principles pricing and elemental cost analysis experience
• Confidence leading a team through change and digital transformation
• NZIQS or RICS membership (or eligibility) highly regarded
