Start and build your career with BMG Outsourcing – one of the well-respected Australian-owned Outsourcing Companies with offices in Clark and Sydney, providing high-quality services to clients and promising careers to its employees.

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and project delivery functions by preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and project pricing proposals. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Suppliers to evaluate project requirements, develop cost models, and ensure commercially viable project outcomes. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimates while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (PH Time)
  • Work Set up: Hybrid
  • Salary range: PHP 90,000 - 120,000

In this role, you will:

  • Review customer requirements, project specifications, drawings, and scope documents to prepare detailed estimates.
  • Work with Operations to determine labor hours, plant/equipment needs, and site accommodation/flight logistics (calling accommodations, online flight pricing).
  • Learn product configurations and typical sizing (e.g., panels, posts) to calculate target tank configurations and generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Contact approved and new vendors to seek, review, vet, and negotiate pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
  • Prepare tender submissions, pricing schedules, governance packs, and supporting commercial documentation.
  • Partner directly with Sales to review client requirements, clarify scope gaps, and sit in on customer meetings to capture pricing and technical differences
  • Build preliminary schedules to ensure labor and estimate hours align with project timelines.
  • Assist in project planning by preparing preliminary schedules, resource allocations, and cost forecasts.
  • Analyze project risks, assumptions, exclusions, and contingencies to ensure estimate accuracy and to protect commercial positions in sales proposals.
  • Maintain the Estimating Register and system file architecture to ensure accurate historical cost records.
  • Generate reports and provide cost analysis to management for project approvals and decision-making.
  • Participate in project handover meetings and provide commercial support to delivery teams.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve estimating processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Perform other administrative, reporting, and ad hoc tasks assigned by management.

We're Looking for Someone Who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in estimating, tender preparation, project costing, or quantity surveying.
  • Experience in industrial, tank/water, construction, infrastructure, or heavy engineering sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical / engineering drawings, project specifications, and scope documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with Australian clients or within an Australian business environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (cost modeling, lookup formulas, data analysis)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using estimating, costing, ERP, or project management software is highly desirable.

Non-Negotiables:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
