Salary: $120,000 – $140,000/year

Key Requirements / Insights

• 7+ years of estimating experience in multifamily residential construction
• Must have extensive ground-up multifamily residential estimating experience
• Must be proficient in Bluebeam Revu
• Strong experience with quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, budgeting, bid preparation, and bid leveling
• Experience with value engineering and preconstruction cost management
• Advanced Excel skills and experience maintaining cost databases and historical benchmarks
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods, drawings, specifications, and trade scopes
• Ability to review architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and landscape plans
• Experience evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience leading estimate reviews and mentoring junior estimators
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates from conceptual design through construction
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and plan reviews using Bluebeam Revu
• Manage subcontractor/supplier bids and bid leveling
• Maintain cost databases, benchmarks, and historical pricing
• Monitor labor and material costs
• Identify cost risks and lead value-engineering efforts
• Support feasibility studies and preconstruction planning
• Review change orders and budget updates
• Coordinate with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Provide technical guidance to other estimators

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
