Senior Estimator

People8 has partnered with an established civil engineering and infrastructure consultancy on the Sunshine Coast to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong first-principles estimating experience who enjoys taking ownership of civil infrastructure tenders and working in a flexible, collaborative environment.

Flexible working arrangements are available, with a minimum of two days per week in the Sunshine Coast office.

Our client is an Australian civil engineering and infrastructure consultancy providing estimating, bid and tender support, project engineering, project management and commercial advisory services.

Supporting public and private sector clients across civil construction, roads, mining, utilities and infrastructure, the business offers exposure to a diverse range of projects across Australia.

Requirements

• Proven estimating experience within civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong first-principles estimating skills, including quantity take-offs, labour, plant, materials, productivity rates and construction methodologies.
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, competitive tenders and subcontractor pricing packages.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation, with strong commercial awareness.
• Confidence managing estimates independently, identifying project risks and meeting tender deadlines.
