Senior Estimator (Electrical)

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing electrical contractor that is expanding its Mission Critical / Data Center division and looking to add an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to the team.

This is a fully remote opportunity supporting large-scale, technically complex electrical projects across the U.S., with a strong emphasis on hyperscale data centers and mission-critical construction .

Responsibilities:

• Lead estimates from conceptual design through final proposal

• Perform detailed electrical takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing

• Review drawings, specifications, RFQs/RFPs, and project requirements

• Support estimating for major power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and associated mission-critical infrastructure

• Evaluate constructability, project risk, value-engineering opportunities, and overall bid strategy

• Coordinate with operations, field leadership, procurement, engineering, and BIM/VDC teams

• Lead estimate reviews and support project turnover to operations

• Mentor and support junior estimators as needed

Ideal Background:

• 7–10+ years of electrical construction/estimating experience

• Strong commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical background

• Data center estimating experience highly preferred

• Experience with large, complex electrical packages

• Accubid or similar electrical estimating software experience

• Strong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical construction means and methods

• Able to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment
