Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager

Outkast is a growing Design & Construction company delivering commercial office fit-outs, refurbishments, asset repositioning projects and construction works across Queensland.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager who can take ownership of our tendering and pre-construction function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data entry into and management of our project management software;
• Establishment of projects and development of Bill of Quantities;
• Review and negotiate Subcontractor and Suppliers contracts in consultation with the Operation and Project Managers;
• Administer live subcontracts and supply agreements in consultation with Contracts Administrator, Operations Manager and Project Managers;
• Manage Subcontract progress claims and variations.

Qualifications/ Experience

To be considered for this role you will ideally possess:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Business;
• Experience in a similar position in an Australian Design & Construction environment with a minimum of three (3) years experience.
• Permanent resident status required for this position.
• Ability to manage both head and subcontracts.
• Experience managing all three contract types including head contracts, subcontracts, and supply agreements.
• Proven experience in the administration & management of contracts & contractors
• Minimum of 3+ years extensive experience in contract management is essential.
• Highly numerate – can see trends and pin point reporting errors rapidly
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly effective written and oral communications skills.
• Strong relationship building and negotiating skills.
