Job Description

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop competitive bids.
• Review subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering options.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Provide support during contract negotiations and project kick-off.

• Experience with cost estimation in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• A detail-oriented mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
