Compensation: $130,000–$180,000 base + 15–20% target bonus

About the Role

Whitefox is looking for a Senior Execution Engineer to serve as the technical authority on projects from early engineering through commissioning and ongoing operations. You’ll work closely with customers and third-party EPC/engineering partners to ensure projects are technically delivered to Whitefox standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical interface between Whitefox, the client, and third-party EPC and engineering partners, from FEL1 through commissioning and O&M.
• Quality-control partner deliverables against Whitefox design criteria, including PFDs with heat and material balances, P&IDs, equipment sizing and selection, layouts, and control narratives.
• Own the technical accuracy of the IFC package.
• After start-up, drive installed systems to their guaranteed performance, quantify the results, and troubleshoot live operations against contractual obligations.

Must Have:

• Chemical Engineering background required
• 8+ years of process engineering on industrial plants, including work from detailed design into the field
• Able to review P&IDs and design documentation, with hands-on commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting experience
• Comfortable in an external-facing role, leading technical conversations with clients and third-party vendors and influencing without direct authority
• Experience delivering engineering through third-party EPC or engineering contractors
• Midwest-based with ethanol experience is ideal. Open to other process industries, and separation, membrane, distillation, or evaporation experience is a plus

Preferred: Ethanol/biofuels experience, particularly with distillation, dehydration, membranes, separation, or evaporation .
