- Coordinating UK and international travel, meetings and itineraries.
- Anticipating challenges, resolving scheduling conflicts and safeguarding time for key priorities.
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, managing access and helping prioritise competing demands.
Strategic coordination
- Partnering closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure the Chief Executive's Office operates effectively.
- Tracking key actions, commitments and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Coordinating priorities and information across senior leaders, Executive Assistants and external stakeholders.
- Providing concise updates, briefings and progress tracking to support informed decision-making.
Stakeholder and communication management
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing communications on behalf of the Chief Executive with diplomacy, tact and sound judgement.
- Drafting and reviewing high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports and briefing materials.
Executive and Board support
- Coordinating Board and Executive-level meetings, including agendas, papers, briefings and logistics.
- Ensuring the Chief Executive is fully prepared for key meetings and engagements.
- Tracking actions, decisions and follow-ups to successful completion.
Problem solving and continuous improvement
- Anticipating needs before they arise and proactively resolving issues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Supporting the delivery of organisational priorities through effective coordination and planning.
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced Executive Assistant who is comfortable operating at the most senior levels of an organisation.
Essential experience
- Significant experience supporting a Chief Executive, Board member or senior executive.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars, competing priorities and confidential matters.
- Experience preparing executives for high-profile meetings and engagements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility quickly.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
Experience within financial services or a regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
About you
You'll be:
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident making decisions and exercising sound judgement.
- An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Professional, discreet and trusted with highly confidential information.
- Commercially aware and able to understand the wider business context.
- Proactive, resourceful and solution-focused.
- Calm and adaptable when working under pressure.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys building strong working relationships.
Why join us?
This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of the organisation, partnering directly with the Chief Executive and engaging with senior leaders, Board members and key external stakeholders.
