Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage **Import Pricing, Procurement, and Operations** for Ocean and Air Freight shipments. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in freight forwarding/logistics and good knowledge of freight rates, vendor coordination, quotations, and import shipment processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle pricing and procurement activities for import shipments.

* Obtain and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and other vendors.

* Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements.

* Coordinate with vendors, overseas agents, customers, transporters, CHA, shipping lines, and airlines.

* Manage import shipment activities and ensure timely execution.

* Monitor shipment schedules, documentation, and operational requirements.

* Maintain updated freight rates, vendor rates, and pricing records.

* Evaluate freight costs, local charges, surcharges, and other applicable charges.

* Support RFQs, spot quotations, and regular customer pricing requirements.

* Coordinate with internal operations and commercial teams to resolve shipment-related issues.

* Follow up with service providers to ensure smooth shipment movement and timely delivery.

* Maintain good working relationships with vendors and overseas partners.

* Monitor shipment profitability and ensure pricing is commercially viable.

* Prepare pricing and operational reports as required.

* Ensure adherence to company procedures and applicable logistics/import requirements.

Required Skills

* 2+ years of relevant experience for Senior Executive or 4+ years for Assistant Manager.

* Experience in **freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or NVOCC**.

* Hands-on experience in **Import Pricing and Operations**.

* Good knowledge of **Ocean Freight and Air Freight**.

* Exposure to **ODC / Project Cargo** will be an advantage.

* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

* Good understanding of import processes and documentation.

* Strong communication and coordination skills.

* Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

* Ability to manage multiple pricing and operational requirements within deadlines.

### Preferred Candidate

Candidates currently working in **freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or NVOCC companies** with relevant experience in import pricing and operations are preferred.
