Senior Executive / Asst, Manager - Import Export - Gurugram

Role & responsibilities

1. Financial Oversight

• Ensure timely payments to overseas suppliers and receipt from foreign customers.
• Manage Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and other trade finance instruments.
• Coordinate with banks for remittances, inward/outward remittances, and FEMA compliance.

2. Documentation Review & Compliance

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all import/export documentation.
• Verify compliance with FEMA, RBI, DGFT, Customs, GST, and other statutory bodies.
• Maintain documentation for audits, customs inspections, and internal controls.

3. Coordination & Process Management

• Liaise with logistics, procurement, sales, CHA, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Ensure timely clearance of goods and avoid demurrage or detention charges.
• Support in classification of goods under correct HS codes and duty structures.

4. Reporting & Controls

• Prepare MIS reports on import/export transactions, duty payments, and cost analysis.
• Monitor outstanding import/export bills and ensure timely settlement.
• Implement internal controls for trade finance and documentation processes.

Import Documentation India

• Knowledge of IEC, Proforma Invoice, PO & Commercial Invoice
• Handling Packing List, Bill of Entry (BoE), Bill of Lading/AWB
• Knowledge of Certificate of Origin & Import Licenses
• Understanding of FEMA, GST & Customs compliance
• Handling Insurance Certificates & Customs Duty Payment
• Coordination with Customs, Shipping Lines & AD Banks
