Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries in FOCUS.
• Process vendor and customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes as per company policy.
• Ensure accurate data entry and general ledger maintenance in FOCUS.

Preparation and verification of import documents, including:

• Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Bill of Entry, Certificate of Analysis (COA), Country of Origin Certificate, Insurance Documents.
• Ensure proper documentation submission to the bank for the import payment process

Preparation and verification of export documents, including:

• Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Certificate of Analysis, Export Declaration Forms
• Ensure proper documentation submission to the bank for the export payment process

Banking & Reconciliations

• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor and customer account reconciliations, and resolve mismatches.
• Monitor and manage cash flows, fund transfers, and petty cash.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate with consultants for audits and compliance requirements.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate financial reports, ledgers, and MIS from Focus as required by the management.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience in Focus is a must.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Experience working in the chemical or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
