Position Overview

We are seeking an experiencedCivil Structural Draftsman to join our Engineering team for thedevelopment of utility-scale Renewable Energy projects, primarily Solar PVprojects

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed andconstruction-ready civil and structural drawings in coordination with DesignEngineering and Project teams

Key Responsibilities

Develop and prepare optimized Solar PV plantlayouts incorporating engineering design inputs, land boundaries,topographical survey data, module configuration, site constraints and overallproject requirements

Prepare detailed MMS table and pile layoutdrawings , including pile positioning, coordinates, numbering, spacing,alignment, pile foundation details and relevant sections, in accordance withapproved engineering designs and site conditions

Prepare Module Mounting Structure (MMS)General Arrangement (GA), fabrication and detailed drawings , coveringstructural members, bracing systems, purlins, rafters, columns, connections,fasteners and other associated components

Prepare detailed RCC structural and civildrawings for renewable energy project buildings and facilities, includingfoundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, trenches and other structuralelements for Main Control Room (MCR), HT Panel Room, SPR Room and associatedbuildings

Prepare structural steel GA, fabrication anddetailed connection drawings , including member layouts, sections, baseplates, anchor bolts, joints and fabrication/erection details

Prepare detailed foundation and equipmentlayout drawings for transformer foundations, AC Kiosk, ACCB, switchgear,inverter and other electrical equipment, incorporating equipment dimensions andengineering requirements

Develop detailed civil infrastructuredrawings for internal and approach roads, drainage systems, culverts, cablecrossings, fencing, gates, security facilities and other associated plantinfrastructure

Prepare comprehensive construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations, reinforcement detailing, schedules,typical details and construction/fabrication details

Incorporate design calculations, engineeringinputs and comments into drawings

Coordinate with Civil StructuralEngineers, Survey, Project, Construction and Site teams to resolvedrawing-related technical requirements, site constraints and revisions,ensuring timely issuance of drawings

Review site conditions and incorporate fieldrequirements such as topographical variations, slopes, nallahs, other siteconstraints into the drawings

Ensure accuracy, consistency and complianceof drawings with approved engineering designs, project specifications,applicable standards/codes and company drawing standards

Maintain drawing documentation and revisioncontrol , including drawing numbering, revision history, drawing registers,transmittals and record drawings/as-built documentation

Support preparation and verification of BOQquantities through accurate interpretation and measurement of civil andstructural drawings

Required Qualifications Skills

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalenttechnical qualification

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CivilStructural drafting

Prior experience in Solar PV / Renewable Energy/ Infrastructure projects is preferred

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory

Good understanding of solar plant layouts, pilelayouts and piling details, MMS structures, RCC detailing, structural steeldetailing and civil infrastructure drawings

Ability to interpret structural/civil designcalculations and convert engineering inputs into detailed drawings

Knowledge of PV Case, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS orsimilar engineering software will be an added advantage

Good coordination, communication and drawingmanagement skills

Preferred Experience

Candidates having hands-on experience in utility-scale SolarPV projects and exposure to the complete drawing cycle from concept/designinput to RFC drawings will be preferred
