What they need

Job Summary

The Senior / Executive Officer, Training & Quality (Training & Development) supports the Academic Programmes and Development department in strengthening the quality and consistency of MENDAKI Achievement Programme (MAP) and related academic programmes. The role coordinates training review cycles and course development activities by consolidating feedback and learning needs, coordinating inputs and approvals, and supporting pilots and improvement actions with coaches, partners and internal stakeholders.

In addition, the jobholder supports and drives reviews of systems and processes used to administer MAP programmes (e.g., enrolment, scheduling, attendance tracking, coaching deployment and reporting workflows), and coordinates enhancements, user guides and change roll-outs to improve effectiveness and user experience. The role also prepares reporting materials and management updates, and supports the preparation and review of examination papers by assuring question quality for students from Primary to Pre-University levels (e.g., coverage, difficulty, clarity, alignment to learning outcomes and fairness).

Key Responsibility Areas

Training Review & Course Development Coordination

  • Coordinate training review cycles for MAP and related programmes by gathering feedback, consolidating learning needs, and tracking follow-ups with internal teams, coaches and partners.

  • Support course development and updates by coordinating content inputs, timelines and approvals, and maintaining version-controlled training materials and course documentation.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating pilot runs and improvement actions (e.g., revisions to lesson plans, rubrics, and delivery guidance) to strengthen training quality and consistency.

MAP Programme Administration Systems Review & Improvement

  • Support and drive periodic reviews of systems and processes used to administer MAP programmes (e.g., enrolment, attendance tracking, scheduling, coaching deployment and reporting workflows) to improve effectiveness and user experience.

  • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors/IT where applicable to document requirements, test enhancements, and track issues through to resolution.

  • Develop and maintain simple process guides and SOPs for system users; provide coordination support for user briefings, change roll-outs and post-implementation checks.

District Officer (Student & Coach Management)

  • Perform District Officer duties by maintaining timely communication with students, parents/guardians (where applicable) and coaches on programme matters, schedules and key updates.

  • Coordinate and manage student and coach matters within assigned districts (e.g., enrolment changes, attendance follow-ups, coach deployment/availability, issue escalation and resolution) to support smooth programme delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of district communications and actions taken, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders as required.

Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Education, Training and Development/Learning & Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics, or other relevant fields.

  • Understanding of Singapore’s education and youth landscape will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in programme operations, training administration, project coordination, or related support roles (preferably in education, training or community programmes).

  • Exposure to supporting training reviews or course/materials development (e.g., consolidating feedback, coordinating inputs, maintaining versions, tracking actions) will be an advantage.

  • Comfortable working with data in Excel (e.g., cleaning, organising, pivot tables, basic charts) and preparing routine updates (e.g., dashboards, monthly reporting or management slides).

  • Exposure to systems/process improvement work (e.g., documenting requirements, supporting user testing, coordinating change roll-outs, preparing SOPs/user guides); familiarity with tools such as Power BI, SharePoint or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with internal teams and external partners; able to learn and apply processes for reviewing examination papers and assuring question quality across Primary to Pre-University levels.
