Senior Executive, Finance

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Finance to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support management in financial planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
• Monitor cash flow, budget utilization, and working capital requirements.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government authorities.
• Manage SST filings, withholding tax matters, and other regulatory submissions.
• Review and monitor customer collections, supplier payments, and credit control activities.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for management reporting.
• Develop and improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
