Senior Executive, General Ledger

Responsibilities :

This role provides broad exposure beyond traditional GL accounting, including financial reporting, intercompany management, transfer pricing, tax compliance and finance process improvement.

• Manage full set of accounts, general ledger and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reporting.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, cost allocations and recharges across entities.
• Support transfer pricing matters, including related-party analysis, reconciliation, allocation schedules and documentation.
• Support SST, corporate tax, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Analyse financial results and identify risks, variances and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and bankers on relevant finance matters.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS, internal policies and financial controls.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation across accounting and reporting processes.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and management requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Proficiency in Oracle systems is an added advantage
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
