Senior Executive, IT Application

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive, IT Application to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the company's Point-of-Sale (POS) and retail management systems. This role will work closely with business users, internal IT teams, and external vendors to ensure system stability, data accuracy, and seamless integration across retail applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support the performance, availability, and stability of POS applications and retail management systems.

• Coordinate and support IT system setup, configuration, and deployment for new store openings.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues reported by users, ensuring timely incident resolution and minimal business disruption.

• Liaise with external vendors to coordinate technical support, incident resolution, system enhancements, and application upgrades.

• Perform master data maintenance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across integrated systems.

• Support system integration and troubleshoot data exchange issues between POS, ERP, CRM, and other retail applications.

• Participate in IT projects, system enhancements, and digital initiatives to improve retail operations and business efficiency.

• Prepare system documentation, maintain support records, and perform other IT-related duties or projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting POS, CRM, ERP, or other retail business applications. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Good understanding of retail business operations and retail application workflows.
• Basic understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, and data interfaces between applications.
• Experience with retail technology solutions, such as AI-enabled weighing scales and Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data cleaning techniques.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with high attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Currently office based Kelana Business Centre, Petaling Jaya (near to Glenmarie LRT station)

Moving to Wisma Segi office at Kampung Melayu Subang, Shah Alam Q2-Q3 2027.
