Senior Executive IT Infrastructure

Develop and execute strategies for the company's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability. Plan for the integration of emerging technologies to enhance our IT capabilities. Oversee the day-to-day operations of technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance. Plan and manage systems, servers, storage, and virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure platforms to support business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements for new initiatives. Analyse resource utilization and performance metrics to plan for capacity upgrades and optimizations. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.

Network Architecture: Develop and execute the organization's network strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices. Design and maintain the overall network architecture to support current and future business needs. Lead day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident response. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of network services and connectivity. Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migration projects. Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Ensure network security and compliance with industry best practices, implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements for new projects and ensure network availability for critical business operations.

Network & Infra Security Management: Develop aligned security strategies, adapting to emerging threats. Implement and oversee security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection). Ensure device/software upkeep and configuration for optimal security. Identify network vulnerabilities via risk assessments and testing. Lead incident responses, analyse root causes, and enhance prevention. Manage real-time security monitoring tools for anomaly detection. Ensure compliance with regulations, facilitating audits and improvements.

Data Centre Management: Supervise day-to-day operations, equipment monitoring, and security protocols. Handle hardware installation, maintenance, and vendor coordination. Analyse capacity metrics, optimize power systems, and plan for expansion. Develop and test disaster recovery plans, maintaining documentation. Ensure Fire Safety Equipment maintenance and regular testing. Ensure safety compliance, implement protocols, and report on performance.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts. Set clear goals and expectations for team members, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

Project Management: Oversee the execution of IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, network expansions, and security enhancements. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to evaluate and select appropriate solutions that align with the organization's needs and objectives. Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.
