Senior Executive - Logistics

Job Summary:

Responsibility for managing end-to-end logistics operations across D2C and B2B channels, ensuring timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination across warehouses, courier partners, transporters, and marketplaces. The role covers the full B2B order cycle, from PO punching and appointment booking to OTIF delivery and reconciliation, and requires strong analytical skills, root cause analysis, hands-on Unicommerce experience, and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily logistics operations including dispatch planning, appointments, and shipment
• tracking
• Punch in purchase orders (POs) received from B2B channels accurately and on time
• Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure that, once a PO is punched in, material is packed and ready for dispatch (or dispatched) within 24 hours
• Book delivery appointments on B2B channel portals and plan dispatches against the appointment slots
• Manage transportation for B2B shipments: coordinate with transporters to ensure
• delivery as per the appointment date and drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance
• Monitor key KPIs such as TAT, OTIF, delivery performance, and cost per shipment
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for delays/issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with courier partners to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and RTV closures
• Reconcile B2B shipments against transporter / logistics bills, and with the respective channels to resolve any disputes on short or excess dispatches
• Verify courier invoices and coordinate with accounts for reconciliation
• Act as the point of contact with Unicommerce to resolve any system or usage issues that affect day-to-day operations
• Review and maintain MIS reports for performance tracking and decision-making
• Work closely with warehouse and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience in RCA and process improvement
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting)
• Working knowledge of Unicommerce (must-have)
• Good understanding of logistics, courier, and B2B transport operations

Experience & Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics & supply chain.
• Experience in courier management, shipment tracking, and RTV processes
• Experience in B2B dispatches, including PO processing, appointment booking, transporter management, and shipment reconciliation
• Hands-on experience with Unicommerce is a must-have
