Role Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Procurement Buyer with hands-on experience in end-to-end sourcing across IT and/or Non-IT Indirect Procurement categories . The role will be responsible for managing sourcing activities from requirement understanding through RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, supplier finalization, contracting and PO coordination, while delivering cost optimization, compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities across assigned IT and Non-IT categories.
• Understand business requirements, specifications/SOW, volumes, timelines and service expectations.
• Conduct market research, supplier identification and alternate vendor development.
• Prepare and manage RFI/RFQ/RFP , competitive bidding and supplier clarification processes.
• Prepare technical-commercial comparisons, normalize supplier proposals and support supplier selection.
• Independently conduct commercial negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, warranty, SLA/KPI, rate cards and other commercial conditions.
• Support contract finalization in coordination with Business, Legal, Finance, IT and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and PR-to-PO activities to ensure timely execution.
• Manage supplier performance, service issues and periodic supplier reviews.
• Maintain sourcing pipeline, savings tracker, contract/renewal calendar and procurement MIS.
• Ensure adherence to Procurement SOP, approval matrix, competitive bidding requirements and audit documentation.

Non-IT Procurement: Facilities, Admin, Transportation, Travel, Security, Housekeeping, HR & Recruitment, L&D, Professional Services, Marketing/Marcom, Events, Courier/Logistics, Office Supplies, Real Estate and Capex/Projects.

Qualification & Skills

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in IT and/or Non-IT Indirect Procurement.
• Strong hands-on experience in RFQ/RFP, strategic sourcing, commercial evaluation and supplier negotiation .
• Demonstrated experience in delivering cost savings/cost avoidance .
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good understanding of supplier management, contracts, SLA/KPI and procurement governance.
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle or similar ERP/eProcurement tools preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, ownership and problem-solving skills.
