Senior Executive (Relations)

What The Role Is You will support the Assistant Director (Relations) in a two-person team managing defence relations for a portfolio covering more than 10 countries.

What You Will Be Working On

• Perform liaison work handling defence relations and protocol services at the MINDEF/SAF level
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned countries in your portfolio
• Assist in planning and organising all visits including official visits, working visits, transit visits and special programmes
• Coordinate arrangements and logistics for high-level visits and events
• Support the execution of official events in accordance with established protocols and requirements

Challenge(s)

• Anticipating and responding to the needs, changes and ad-hoc requests from MINDEF/SAF principals and their guests to ensure events are executed with the highest standard of protocol and hospitality
• Maintaining cordial and professional relationships with foreign Military Attaches, Embassy officials, and senior MINDEF/SAF personnel

What We Are Looking For

• Education in International Relations, Hospitality, Communications, Management or similar fields of study
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
