Senior Executive, Trading

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform shift duty for gas & electricity market operations.
• Carry out and optimize real-time electricity bidding as well as routine gas nominations in accordance with the gas and electricity market rules.
• Update management on upstream supply, market conditions, and daily trading operations.
• Coordinate closely with power plant on plant dispatch and related matters.
• Administer Keppel’s energy trading and risk management platform and liaise with IT vendors for system enhancements.
• Coordinate closely with different business functions to derive value within the Power & Renewables line of business.
• Provide analytical support to business managers on commercial and regulatory matters.
• Liaise and collaborate with regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering / Business / Statistics
• Willing to work night trading hours (will be entitled to shift allowance)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in programming (VBA, Python) and/or statistical analysis a plus
• Good market knowledge on Singapore power industry will be advantageous
• Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
