Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Corporate Strategy

This is a strategy role supporting high-impact initiatives across YCH Group, with a focus on APAC markets including Cambodia and China. The role requires someone who can quickly understand complex business, market and operational issues, distil them into clear assessments, and translate them into sharp presentations, papers and recommendations for senior management.

The ideal candidate should be analytical, structured and self-driven, with the ability to manage work independently, coordinate across functions, and support strategic projects from analysis through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis and Management Support

• Synthesise complex information across markets, customers, operations, financials and stakeholders into clear insights and recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, discussion papers, briefing notes and reports for senior management.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis and operational assessments to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop clear views on business opportunities, risks, trade-offs and implementation requirements.
• Support strategy discussions by converting broad ideas into structured plans, workstreams and next steps.

Strategic Projects and Business Growth

• Support the execution of strategic initiatives and customer engagement activities across APAC, with a focus on Cambodia and China.
• Work with internal teams to identify opportunities to optimise supply chain and logistics operations.
• Support the development of business cases, market entry assessments and growth plans.
• Help identify and evaluate new business opportunities in key accounts, including potential revenue and profitability impact.
• Track project progress, manage timelines and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with internal business units, country teams and functional teams to gather inputs and drive project execution.
• Support engagement with external stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants, financial institutions and business partners.
• Assist with government relations, funding applications and corporate initiatives linked to strategic priorities.
• Support the planning and execution of high-profile corporate events, including groundbreaking ceremonies, product launches and facility openings.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business planning, or related roles.
• Strong ability to synthesise complex information and produce clear, practical assessments.
• Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to prepare senior management-level materials.
• Good analytical and research skills, including market analysis, financial analysis and business case development.
• Self-starter who can work independently, manage ambiguity and follow through without close supervision.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of supply chain management, including warehousing, transportation, customs and import/export logistics, would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with APAC markets, especially Cambodia and China, would be an advantage.
