Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, General Services

The Job

You will assist the General Services department in carrying out of policies and its functions which includes Portering, Transportation Services, Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) / Medical Transport Service (MTS), Transportation Services, Mail Services, Mortuary and Shuttle Bus Services.

Your job role will include but are not limited to the following:

• Work with appointed service partner in overseeing the daily operations of portering services.
• Monitor the service standards of appointed service partner.
• Ensure all staff are adequately trained, and safety and service standards are met.
• Attend to incidents/ feedbacks and conduct investigation in relation to the matter.
• Update all P&Ps and WIs in line with audit requirements.
• Monitor and review monthly workload volumes and KPIs.
• Recommend changes in areas where improvements are required e.g. in work processes or manpower deployment.
• Prepare expenditure projections for the department in the annual workplan and budget exercise.
• Monitor the actual expenditure of allocated budget throughout the financial year.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects.
• Partake in initiatives that may bring about improvement in department’s processes and performances.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Good interpersonal, analytical, presentation and writing skills
• Certification or knowledge in Lean, project management, or any other relevant is preferred
• Able to work under tight deadline
