Senior Facilities Engineer (ELV), Data Center

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ELV maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance schedules, performance standards, and system improvement plans to enhance facility reliability.
• Manage outsourced maintenance contractors, monitor service quality and KPIs, review quotations, control costs, and administer maintenance contracts and budgets.
• Diagnose and resolve complex ELV system failures, system integration issues, and critical operational faults; lead emergency response for major outages.
• Ensure ELV systems comply with local electrical, fire, and security regulations; coordinate statutory inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety protocols.
• Liaise with facility managers, clients, consultants, authorities, and vendors on technical and operational matters; review maintenance reports and improvement recommendations.
• Manage ELV retrofit, upgrade, and performance improvement projects, and provide ad hoc ELV technical support as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Building Services Engineering.
• 5 to 8+ years of proven experience in ELV facilities management and maintenance for data centres or institutional buildings.
• Expertise in ELV system operations, maintenance, optimization, and network infrastructure, including BMS/BAS and security systems.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and maintaining core ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, PA/VA, intercom, structured cabling, Wi-Fi/LAN, car park systems, and BMS/BAS.
• Demonstrated track record in team leadership, contractor management, budget control, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of local regulations, including EMSD, FSD, and security ordinances.
• Experience delivering ELV system upgrades, retrofits, and performance improvement projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance documentation is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English; fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Strong practical, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills, with emergency response and risk management abilities.
• Able to work under pressure, meet operational targets, and manage multiple priorities.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Facilities Engineer (ELV)
