Senior Facilities Engineer - Facilities Maintenance Operations

Responsibilities

• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Manage HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, power monitoring systems, and critical infrastructure.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Perform power load assessments for new business requirements and expansion projects.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Monitor electrical reliability, power quality, and system availability through centralized BMS.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Conduct energy audits and identify improvement opportunities.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Develop SOP and Standardization for every activities.
• Electrical Infrastructure Power Management: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major electrical incidents and outages.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Lead electrical engineering design reviews for office expansions, fit-outs, renovations, laboratories, data centers, and workplace infrastructure projects.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Prepare and validate electrical load calculations, power distribution schemes, UPS requirements, DG integration, and redundancy planning.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Review and approve MEP drawings, layouts, specifications, and engineering submissions.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Ensure compliance with NBC, BIS, IEC, ECBC, LEED and local statutory requirements.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Coordinate with consultants, contractors, landlords, and project teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Engineering Design Project Management: Drive engineering innovation and standardization across facilities.
• Compliance, Audit Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Indian Electricity Rules, NBC, Fire Life Safety Standards, Environmental Regulations, Occupational Health Safety Requirements, Corporate Engineering Standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Facilities Engineering or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 5+ years of Facilities Engineering or related work experience.

Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Masters = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / Power System.

Experience

1015+ years of experience in engineering in Property and facilities management.

Experience supporting corporate campuses, RD facilities, technology workplaces or critical infrastructure environments.

Hands-on experience managing large-scale engineering projects and facility operations.
