Senior Field Service & Workshop Engineer

About the role

This role encompasses field service responsibilities and workshop management for equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at customer locations throughout the APEC region, as well as planning and overseeing daily workshop service, repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer locations throughout the APEC region
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
• Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and performance verification
• Deliver customer training on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and product features
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily workshop service, repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities in Thailand
• Allocate jobs, manpower, tools, and resources between field service and workshop operations
• Review and approve repair methodologies and technical solutions to ensure quality and efficiency
• Monitor repair progress and communicate status, risks, and timelines to relevant internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations

About you

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Capability to provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
• Experience with equipment inspections, testing, and performance verification
• Ability to deliver customer training on equipment operation and maintenance practices
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing workshop service and repair activities
• Knowledge of repair methodologies and technical solutions
• Experience with service records documentation and traceability
• Ability to collaborate with Sales, Projects, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal departments
• Strong customer relationship management skills
• Commitment to identifying opportunities to improve service efficiency and equipment reliability
