SENIOR FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Service Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and assist the service manager to lead the service teams, including scheduling, assigning and monitoring service jobs.
• Train, supervise and evaluate service team members to improve their technical skills and performance.
• Ensure the team complies with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.

Service Delivery

• Ensure that the service division installation, commissioning, repair and preventive maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Provide technical guidance and support to service engineers in diagnosing faults and resolving complex equipment issues.
• Attend customer sites when necessary to inspect equipment and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage service tools, equipment, spare parts and manpower requirements.

Customer & Sales Growth

• Maintain strong customer relationships and handle service enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Responsible for increasing the sales of the service division.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal departments to ensure smooth service operations.

Reporting & Administration

• Review service reports, quotations and technical documents to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Monitor the progress, quality and profitability of service jobs.
• Prepare regular service performance reports for management.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in field servicing.
• Experience in the repair and servicing of refrigeration systems, compressed-air systems or related equipment is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, including troubleshooting, testing, repair and maintenance.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, planning and team-management skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Able to prepare and review service reports, quotations and other technical documents.
• Able to manage multiple service assignments and work under pressure.
• Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willing and able to attend customer sites when required.
