The Senior Field Service Technician will provide technical and logistical support for Komline-Sanderson customers and their supplied systems and equipment.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform start up tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation
• Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests
• Provide field drawing mark-ups to Designers for "as built" drawing revisions
• Lead and coordinate start-up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer’s performance criteria
• Lead contractors and other onsite personnel to coordinate activities and inspect work-in-progress
• Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance
• Implement job specific preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to engineering department

Qualifications

• 10+ years of previous field service experience
• Knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
• 7+ years' experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
• 7+ years’ experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
• Collaborate with others and working in a team environment
• Travel up to 70% to customer sites
• Available for 3-6 months of training at our facility in Peapack, New Jersey
