SENIOR FINANCE CONTROLLER

I. Job Purpose

The Finance Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial control, treasury forecasting, and strategic financial analysis across business units and/or entities. The role provides data-driven insights to support business performance, financial discipline, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making while ensuring effective financial governance.

Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead financial performance analysis, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling for assigned business units and/or entities.
• Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, and operational KPIs to identify performance gaps, business risks, and growth opportunities.
• Develop financial models and provide actionable recommendations to optimize margins, cost efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions, evaluate business plans, and drive financial accountability.

2. Financial Control & Reporting

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of management reporting, financial analysis, and budget performance monitoring.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets; investigate material variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and reporting discrepancies, and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and business teams to strengthen financial governance and compliance with internal policies.

3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Prepare and analyze short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts, liquidity projections, and funding requirements.
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and cash utilization to identify opportunities for improving cash flow efficiency.
• Analyze cash flow variances and liquidity risks, providing timely recommendations and mitigation plans.
• Support treasury planning, intercompany funding analysis, and cash management across assigned entities.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead budget preparation and rolling forecast processes for assigned business units, functions, and/or entities.
• Review and challenge business assumptions relating to revenue, direct costs, headcount, operating expenses, and investment requirements.
• Conduct budget-versus-actual analysis and assess financial implications of business changes and emerging risks.
• Work with business leaders to develop corrective action plans and ensure alignment between financial targets and business priorities.

5. Corporate Finance Support

• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and supporting materials for fundraising, investor presentations, and strategic financing activities.
• Support financial due diligence, data room preparation, and financial information requests from investors, lenders, and external advisors.
• Analyze funding alternatives, capital requirements, and the financial implications of strategic business initiatives.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial information provided to senior management and external stakeholders.

II. Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are an advantage.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial control, management accounting, or corporate finance.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, and business performance analysis.
• Practical experience in cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and financial risk assessment.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations, or financial due diligence is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERP, Power BI, or other analytical tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
