What they need

To prepare month-end management reports, complex multi-entity consolidations, and detailed balance sheet reconciliations across 123RF and Sphere entities. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Executive acts as the core analytical engine of the general ledger function—ensuring flawless data integrity, supporting external audit pipelines, performing variance analysis, and safeguarding compliance to support the group's long-term IPO readiness and corporate governance goals.

Job Scope

  • Financial Consolidation & Group Reporting: Prepare multi-currency monthly management accounts, intercompany matrix eliminations, and consolidation reporting packages.
  • Journal Entries & Audit Schedule Management: Own the adjustments, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset schedules to ensure clean general ledgers.
  • Audit, Tax, and Statutory Compliance: Act as the primary operational coordinator for external auditors, tax agents, and global regulatory requirements.
  • Account Reconciliation & Gateway Matching: Execute precise matching of intercompany ledgers and payment platform clearing data.
  • Financial Analysis Support: Review margins, expense tracks, and aging metrics to generate clear variance narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Multi-Entity Consolidation

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and complex consolidation reports with comprehensive supporting schedules for internal leadership and group-level statutory tracking.
  • Deliver highly accurate and timely financial reporting templates to the Finance Manager, strictly meeting internal reporting cutoff dates.
  • Support the tracking of platform-specific metrics (such as contribution margins, marketplace transaction volumes, and product line costs) through strict general ledger data discipline.

Ledger Quality & Audit Schedules

  • Formulate and adjust month-end journal entries, provisions, accrued expenses, and prepayments to consolidate financial performance accurately in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
  • Maintain, update, and balance rigorous audit schedules including Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and cash reconciliations.

Audit Coordination & Corporate Compliance

  • Coordinate directly with external auditors and corporate tax agents to ensure smooth, timely completion of annual statutory group audits and corporate tax filings.
  • Assist in transforming financial routines to achieve corporate IPO readiness, ensuring all accounting trails and disclosures meet the high governance standards required by the Group.

Account Reconciliation & Intercompany Matrix

  • Conduct deep-dive monthly reconciliations of intercompany transactions and balances, resolving mismatches quickly and justifying billings across the 123RF and Sphere entities.
  • Perform complex multi-currency reconciliations, matching internal booking records against global digital payment gateway statement flows (PayPal, Adyen, etc.).

Financial Analysis & Trend Review

  • Analyze financial statement details, tracing gross profit margins, global expense trends, and debtor/creditor aging structures.
  • Identify and highlight significant variances (budget vs. actual and month-over-month) to provide clear, actionable insights to the Finance Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional Qualification: Partially or fully qualified in a professional accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience specializing in financial reporting, group consolidation, and audit file preparation. Experience starting in a reputable audit firm (Big 4 or mid-tier) followed by commercial exposure in a fast-paced digital, subscription, or e-commerce landscape is highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent, updated working knowledge of MFRS/IFRS frameworks. Advanced Excel capabilities (lookups, logic formulas, pivot tables, and financial data structuring). Familiarity with multi-currency cloud ERP software and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and capable of working effectively under strict monthly closing windows.
