Senior Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is an accounting graduate with 3-5 years of hands-on experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with full set of accounts experience will have a distinct advantage and will be given priority consideration. This role offers excellent exposure to comprehensive accounting functions and opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions with accuracy and timeliness
• Perform daily bookkeeping entries and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, credit notes, and other financial documents
• Handle supplier payments, customer collections, and maintain aging reports for both AP and AR
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive accounting records including general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements
• Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all accounts are properly reconciled
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Assist in preparation of monthly management reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors during annual audit exercises and prepare necessary audit schedules

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field (mandatory requirement)
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Experience handling full set of accounts is a strong advantage
• Proficient in accounting software (SQL Accounting)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
