Senior Finance Executive

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records and journal entries.
• Maintain full set of accounts, including account reconciliations and financial schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes, ERP systems, and internal controls.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of full set accounting is essential.
• Audit experience is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Malaysian tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP and MES systems is preferred; knowledge of Epicor ERP will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
