Senior Finance Executive

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• Preferably at least 3 years of working experience is required.
• Preferably candidates specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with MS Excel, Word, outlook skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring efficient cash flow management and vendor relations.
• Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, providing financial insights and support.
• Support the Chief Financial Officer in strategic financial planning, risk management, and investment analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
