Senior Financial Analyst (Business Partnering)

Job Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial analysis, commercial insights, and operational finance support. The role partners closely with commercial stakeholders to provide performance tracking, trade investment & expense analysis, and contract governance. The role ensures reliable data, effective financial controls, and timely insights to support commercial decisions and planning activities from a financial perspective.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales & Marketing stakeholders to evaluate business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide financial insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Perform commercial analysis on trade promotions, customer margins, pricing proposals, and marketing investments, including business case support where required
• Coordinate financial review and approval of customer contracts, ensuring accuracy of pricing, rebates, and funding terms
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and trackers for Sales & Marketing performance, trade spend, and customer profitability
• Extract, validate, and consolidate data from SAP and internal systems to support monthly reviews, variance analysis, and planning cycles
• Support monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting by assembling inputs, templates, and performance narratives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting tools, data quality, and finance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Data Science or related discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A or sales finance
• CPA not a must but preferred
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or commercial finance environments is highly valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Strong business acumen and commercial mindset, with the ability to understand business drivers, assess financial implications, and challenge business assumptions through sound financial analysis
• Strong Excel and SAP skills; experience with Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• High integrity, ownership mindset, and sound professional judgment
• Proficiency in written & spoken English and Chinese
