We are looking for: Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

Local Accounting – Serbia Entity

  • Own the month-end close for the Serbia legal entity, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the local general ledger and ensure compliance with Serbian accounting standards and statutory requirements, including preparation and submission of local financial statements and regulatory filings.
  • Manage accounts payable, employee expense reporting, and local payroll accounting entries in coordination with HR.
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for Serbia-based operations, providing day-to-day financial guidance to local management.

Global Close Support

  • Deliver Serbia actuals to the Controller (US) within the 5-business-day global close cycle, including intercompany reconciliations with other Eagle Wireless entities.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and flux commentary for the consolidated management reporting pack.
  • Flag and resolve close issues proactively, escalating to the CFO or Controller where needed, and support the Controller’s global consolidation build-out.

FP&A – Budgeting, Forecasting & Global Support

  • Own the Serbia budget and rolling forecast, building and maintaining driver-based financial models, and contribute Serbia inputs to the global annual budget process.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior period) with clear commentary for the CFO, and develop scenario and sensitivity analyses as requested.
  • Partner with the FP&A function (India) on global forecasting, reporting, the management reporting pack, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Build and maintain financial models supporting strategic decisions, cost analysis, business cases, and Board/investor materials.
  • Contribute to long-range financial planning, multi-entity KPI reporting, and cross-entity FP&A workstreams as assigned by the CFO.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Work within the company’s ERP (NetSuite) for accounting transactions, reporting, and close activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the Serbia close and reporting cycle and maintain clear documentation of local accounting processes and controls.
  • Contribute to finance automation and digitization initiatives across the global team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of finance experience combining accounting and financial analysis.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (Serbian GAAP and/or IFRS).
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; able to build and own models independently. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working across time zones with US and European colleagues.

Preferred:

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) completed or in progress.
  • Experience in a multinational company or exposure to consolidated group reporting.
  • Background that spans both accounting and financial planning & analysis.
  • Familiarity with intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments.
  • Experience with reporting or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

What Do We Have to Offer You?

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Supportive team culture with strong leadership.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options.
