Responsibilities

• Own recurring financial reporting for multiple broadcast news programs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning in partnership with Finance and business stakeholders.
• Analyze actual costs, prepare variance reports, and provide monthly budget-versus-actual commentary to leadership.
• Track story-, segment-, show-, and portfolio-level budgets, including designated programming such as Sunday Morning; identify cost overruns and consolidate results.
• Reclassify miscoded expenses, support ad hoc financial analysis, and use financial data and AI tools to improve reporting and business insights.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of financial analysis experience, including budgeting and forecasting; media or entertainment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, broadcast news production, and operational budgeting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, SmartView, EDMCS, or similar enterprise finance systems preferred; Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize financial results into clear business insights, with strong communication, collaboration, judgment, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
