Senior Financial Controller

We are looking for a Finance Controller with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for improving business performance. This role combines financial planning, performance analysis, process improvement and business intelligence, providing the opportunity to support decision-making through meaningful financial and operational insights.

Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting & Business Performance

As a key member of the Finance team, you will play an active role in understanding business performance, identifying trends and contributing to planning activities across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting within established deadlines, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning activities for assigned business areas and customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer and business unit P&L structures, monitoring performance and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Perform detailed monthly variance analysis, including profitability, gross margin, operating costs and key business drivers.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights and recommendations for management.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial information within corporate reporting systems.
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests.

Business Intelligence & Process Improvement

You will contribute to enhancing business performance by analyzing processes, driving efficiency and helping teams make better use of data and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze business processes and gather relevant requirements to propose new process designs.
• Deliver innovative and collaborative solutions for process optimization.
• Build and facilitate reporting on process efficiency, compliance and other key metrics.
• Prepare presentations for internal management meetings.

Leadership & Collaboration

Success in this role requires strong collaboration across teams and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities include:

• Foster collaboration across Finance and shared service teams to ensure consistency and best-practice sharing.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects, transformation initiatives and corporate programs as required.
• Contribute to the continuous development of Finance capabilities, tools and processes.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in Controlling, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering within a multinational or complex business environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, preferably Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
• SAP knowledge; experience with planning systems such as Essbase is an advantage.
• Fluent English and Spanish; a third language is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
