Senior Financial Controller

A leading company with local and international operations is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join its finance team in a key role.

This position offers broad responsibility across financial reporting, financial controls, business support, and cross-functional projects, with exposure to senior stakeholders both locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and reporting to a global group

• Oversee financial and management reporting requirements

• Prepare financial analyses, balance sheet reviews

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

• Handle accounting matters, including revenue recognition

• Work closely with external auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies

• Review and oversee financial statements (private companies) across multiple entities within the group

• Review commercial agreements and business transactions from a financial and accounting perspective

• Manage relationships with financial institutions, banks, insurers, and external consultants

• Support and optimize financial processes within ERP and global systems

• Lead process improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives

• Maintain financial controls and compliance processes including account reconsiliations

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

5-8 years of experience in financial controlling, financial reporting, or audit roles.

Experience working in an international or global reporting environment is a significant advantage.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Proven experience leading projects and process improvement initiatives is an advantage.
